Job Title: 2026 Housing Justice Policy Fellow
Reports to: Chief of Community Development & Policy
Status: Full time, Non-Exempt
Term: This is a one-year fellowship with possible renewal for a second year. Schedule will be Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $58,000 annual salary, paid bi-monthly.
Location: Dallas, Texas. Hybrid.
Builders of Hope CDC’s Housing Justice Policy Fellowship offers an opportunity for emerging policy leaders to support research, analysis, and advocacy focused on housing stability and anti-displacement efforts in Dallas. Fellows will contribute to policy research, community-informed analysis, and written materials that help translate complex housing and tax policy into accessible guidance for residents, advocates, and stakeholders.
This fellowship is designed for individuals interested in housing justice, public policy, and community-centered solutions who want hands-on experience supporting real-world policy work.
